Thursday 16th September will be my last session before I return to Utah.Planning for a skate at Hyde Park and then some food at the Queens arms - should be quieter now the proms have finished.Be there or be square!

opps - missed it!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWiN54KEk3QLast time I saw this was in 1978This was from 'The World About Us'a prime time documentary series taking a different subject each episode.There were only 3 TV channels then in the UK. It was a huge influence and all us UK skaters! some of us even made it to California.

I'll be there with goodies from Germany at about 6pm too!!!! Team UK need to pay for Hotels and Car hire too. We need a major sponsor Weather looks to be OK later. Then on to the Queens arms.

The Contest Calendar is currently down for those trying to sign up for X in the City, Adam has said on the Slalom Thread:"The Contest Calendar is on a different server (Ncdsa's old server) and that server is currently down. It's located 50 miles away in a data center and is not responding to remote power cycling. I have a tech going there tomorrow to see what's going on with it. Many of you may not be aware, but Michael Bookes injured his ankle whilst running out on the lower S-bend of the upper circuit.After a trip to the local A&E at King George Hospital, (Mike drove there with his son operating the clutch!) it turns out that he had a broken fibula. After three days in hospital, he now has a metal plate in his ankle and is slowly on the mend after a soujourn in Norfolk.Gel well Mike, and we all hope to see you up and skating once you are ready to get back on that horse. Just don't let the wife know!Sam
